Airlines 'don't make enough money'
The airline industry is a tough business to be in right now.
As well as the aviation disasters of recent months, airlines are being affected by aggressive competition and economic uncertainty.
David Kuo of Motley Fool told the BBC that carriers are also being hurt by low profit margins.
