Imran Khan: "All I want is free and fair elections"

The Pakistani opposition leader, Imran Khan has told thousands of supporters gathered outside parliament that there can be no meaningful political talks until the prime minister, Nawaz Sharif, is ready to step down.

Mr Khan said the protest was aimed at ending alleged corruption and alleged electoral fraud.

Pakistani politicians have criticised Mr Khan's week-long campaign to bring down the government as unconstitutional.

The BBC's Pakistan correspondent, Shahzeb Jillani, spoke to Mr Khan at the scene of the protest.
