GSK receives record fine in China for bribing doctors

Pharmaceutical firm GlaxoSmithKline have been fined $490m (£297m) after being found guilt of bribery by a Chinese court.

The firm was convicted of bribing doctors and hospitals in China in order to get their products promoted.

GSK's former head of Chinese operations, Mark Reilly, received a three-year prison sentence, which is suspended, and is set to be deported.
