Catalonia: Scotland vote 'not a real setback' for independence

Catalonian President Artur Mas says Scotland's rejection of independence is "not a real setback" for the Catalan cause.

Mr Mas admitted he had a personal preference for a "Yes" vote from the Scottish electorate.

However he stated the most important thing for him was holding a referendum, something the government in Madrid are trying to prevent.

He applauded the vote in Scotland as representative of "high quality democracy".
