Is this the world's first 'green supercar'?

An "environmentally friendly" supercar has been unveiled at Geneva's International Motor Show.

The Quant F, which has a top speed of more than 300km/h (186mph), emits "zero-harmful emissions", its manufacturer NanoFlowcell claims.

Nunzio La Vecchia, chief technical officer at NanoFlowcell, explained that the new green technology that powers the car differs from other low-emission vehicles.

It uses ionic liquids to produce electricity instead of electrolytes like traditional fuel cells, he said.
