Prominent Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny released from jail

A prominent critic of the Kremlin has been released from jail in Russia.

Alexei Navalny served 15 days for unlawfully distributing leaflets on the Moscow metro, in the latest in a series of court cases against him.

In December, Mr Navalny and his brother were found guilty of fraud, in a case they say was politically motivated.

Sarah Rainsford reports from Moscow.
