Armenian children are offered a free high-tech education

Armenia's landlocked position in the South Caucasus has hampered its attempts to expand its economy, since it declared independence from the Soviet Union in 1991.

It has led the Armenian authorities to investigate new technology and online industries as a way of creating wealth.

Overseas investment means Armenian children are being offered a free high-tech education.
