Ban on e-cigarettes for under-18s in US

New rules will ban retailers across the US from selling electronic cigarettes to anyone under 18 from August.

The products are seen as a less harmful alternative to traditional cigarettes and are often used by those who want to quit smoking.

But the US government, concerned at some e-cigarettes' addictive attributes, has decided to tighten the regulations on their sale and manufacture.
