Waiting decades to bring a dead soldier home

Kathy Woodford has waited 52 years for the body of her uncle, Kevin Conway, to come back to Australia.

She told the BBC about the anguish her family suffered when the government of the time demanded a substantial fee to repatriate him.

Remains of 33 Australian servicemen and their dependents - many killed in the Vietnam War - who were buried in Malaysia and Singapore are being repatriated to Australia.
