Another busy week in the entertainment world has ended, including the deaths of a rock 'n' roll legend and a great crime writer; news about former and future Top Gear hosts; and a new resident of Sesame Street.
Here's a round-up of some things you might have missed:
Author Colin Dexter who wrote the much-loved Inspector Morse stories, died at his home in Oxford, the setting for his 13 detective novels.
Laura Mvula told the BBC she found out she was dropped by her record label in an email.
Richard Hammond had to reassure fans he had no lasting effects after an accident while filming The Grand Tour.
Meanwhile, a new US version of Hammond's old show Top Gear was announced, with Prison Break actor William Fichtner (left) and champion drag racer Antron Brown among the hosts.
Chuck Berry, the guitarist and songwriter recognised as one of the fathers of rock 'n' roll, was found unresponsive by police in Missouri and later pronounced dead at the age of 90.
