Organisers said Doja Cat's set would be her UK festival-headlining debut

Singer Doja Cat, electronic duo Disclosure and Mercury Prize-nominated rapper J Hus have been announced as the headliners for Parklife 2024.

The festival, which takes place in Manchester's Heaton Park on 8 and 9 June, will also see performances from Sugababes, Becky Hill and Anne-Marie.

The DJ line-up will include sets from Peggy Gou, Four Tet and Camelphat.

Organisers said the line-up announcement was the "invitation everyone's been waiting for".

A representative said the annual event, which began in 2010, will also see the unveiling of a new main stage, "jaw-dropping production, less line-up clashes and a fresh new look".

They said the weekender would see several exclusive moments, including Doja Cat's UK festival-headlining debut, Disclosure's only British bill-topping show in 2024 and one of the first shows by J Hus in almost four years.

In December, the festival announced it would be reducing ticket prices by almost £5 in a bid to keep it "accessible to all".

At the time, they also revealed "trailblazing house superstars" Fisher and Chris Lake would be bringing their "mammoth" Under Construction show to the event's Hanger stage.

Also on the bill in June will be the likes of Digga D, Mahalia, Rudim3ntal, Nia Archives, Barry Can't Swim, Wilkinson, Shy FX: Specials, Kenya Grace, Badger, Girls Don't Sync, Uncle Waffles, Chimpo and Loco Dice.

The festival representative said "early bird tickets" had sold out "in rapid time", but all remaining tickets would be put on general sale on Friday.

"Commanding the festival conversation as the largest city festival in Europe and an agenda-setting date in the diary unlike anything else this summer, Parklife is that invitation everyone's been waiting for," they added.

The 2023 event at Heaton Park saw revellers from all over the UK enjoy two days of live performances, DJ sets and high spirits, which even a storm-induced pause in proceedings could not dampen.
